This document summarizes a collaborative activity for a class on materials design for virtual environments. 3. Teaching with technology can
deepen student learning by
supporting instructional
objectives. However, it can
be challenging to select the
“best” tech tools while not
loosing sight of your goals for
student learning.

4. There are web based applications
that allow you to create and share
presentations online. Using these web
based tools, rather than the traditional
desktop solutions can have many
advantages, for example:
-Everything is done online through your
web browser;
-Your presentations remain accessible
from any computer, ensuring both
availability and exposure,
-Your presentations can be embedded
into websites, blogs and wikis.

6. As a teacher I use this as a support tool,
giving my students the chance to review the
topics studied in class, when they get home.
I also use it for extra practice and to share
documents.
