Dee Culp gave a presentation about how cycling, blogging, and social networking helped save their life as a transgender person. They experienced depression, anger, and resentment living as a man, and struggled with gender dysphoria. Cycling helped relieve stress, blogging shared their experiences, and social networking connected them to others facing similar challenges. By living openly as transgender and using their interests and art to advocate for others, Culp was able to save themselves and help save others in similar situations.
