This document outlines the focus and requirements of a course on literacy and inquiry for teachers. The course aims to help teachers learn qualitative research methods by: 1. Having students work in groups to produce a digital media artifact and collect detailed data on the process. 2. Writing an academic research report analyzing patterns in their data and relating it to relevant literature. Students will document their project process through field notes, photos/videos, and recordings to capture spoken and written data from their collaboration.
