In the Sunway University College’s production of Atomic Jaya, the minister spoke in a lazy drawl but his lines denying the presence of the atomic bomb embodied all that is contemporary about our local political scene, making his character unforgettable.

In 1953, Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary became the first humans to successfully climb to the peak of Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world. In the 50 years since Norgay and Hillary first climbed the mountain, more than 5,000 people have attempted to repeat their feat with 1,600 successes. Bumiputra means “sons of the soil” and was seen as a necessary policy for Malays who were supposedly disadvantaged by the heavy presence of immigrants in the Malay Archipelago during colonial rule.2. While Malaysia held on to Sarawak and Sabah, they lost Singapore.The island state was expelled in 1965 after a heated ideological conflict between the state's government and the federal Kuala Lumpur government. Singapore objected to the new economic policy which favors “Bumiputra” that would most likely result racial discrimination in favour of the native Malays.

Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that one way or another.The real sentence from Bhagavad-Gita is "Behold! For I am become Shiva, Shatterer of Worlds!”The line is spoken to Arjuna by Krishna, who is revered in Hindu traditions as one of the major incarnations of Vishnu;
The quote is indeed from the BhagavadGita ("Song of the lord"). Some suggest it's a misquote, which would explain the peculiar grammar; but "am become" is not an error but a (poetic) archaism Oppenheimer was proficient in sanskrit he read the original text, and the translation is his own; The Powerful God:Shiva is 'shakti' or power, Shiva is the destroyer, the most powerful god of the Hindu pantheon and one of the godheads in the Hindu Trinity. Known by many names - Mahadeva, Mahayogi, Pashupati, Nataraja, Bhairava, Vishwanath, Bhava, BholeNath - Lord Shiva is perhaps the most complex of Hindu deities. Hindus recognize this by putting his shrine in the temple separate from those of other deities.Shiva As Phallic Symbol:Shiva, in temples is usually found as a phallic symbol of the 'linga', which represents the energies necessary for life on both the microcosmic and the macrocosmic levels, that is, the world in which we live and the world which constitutes the whole of the universe. In a Shaivite temple, the 'linga' is placed in the center underneath the spire, where it symbolizes the naval of the earth.A Different Deity:The actual image of Shiva is also distinct from other deities: his hair piled high on the top of his head, with a crescent tucked into it and the river Ganges tumbling from his hairs. Around his neck is a coiled serpent representing Kundalini or the spiritual energy within life. He holds a trident in his left hand in which is bound the 'damroo' (small leather drum). He sits on a tiger skin and on his right is a water pot. He wears the 'Rudraksha' beads and his whole body is smeared with ash.The Destructive Force:Shiva is believed to be at the core of the centrifugal force of the universe, because of his responsibility for death and destruction. Unlike the godhead Brahma, the Creator, or Vishnu, the Preserver, Shiva is the dissolving force in life. But Shiva dissolves in order to create, since death is the medium for rebirth into a new life. So the opposites of life and death and creation and destruction both reside in his character.The Most Fascinating of Gods:He is also often portrayed as the supreme ascetic with a passive and composed disposition. Sometimes he is depicted riding a bull called Nandi decked in garlands. Although a very complicated deity, Shiva is one of the most fascinating of Hindu gods.The God Who's Always High!:Since Shiva is regarded as a mighty destructive power, to numb his negative potentials he is fed with opium and is also termed as 'Bhole Shankar', one who is oblivious of the world. Therefore, on MahaShivratri, the night of Shiva worship, devotees, especially the menfolk, prepare an intoxicating drink called 'Thandai' (made from cannabis, almonds, and milk) sing songs in praise of the Lord and dance to the rhythm of the drums.
Pg 31Yuen tell the audience how much she don’t want to take part in the project anymore. Yuen do not want to be in the project anymore and just want to stick with something small.
Conscience gets the better of her and she decides to sabotage the bomb so that it won’t explode“The act of observation changes that which is being observed, said Heisenberg”While the play itself is a beautiful piece of political satire, it is not quite without its own shortcomings. For example, Sulaiman teases us with Werner Heisenberg’s famous Uncertainty Principle as a way of judging Dr.Yuen’s account, though he simply dangles it there without ever turning it into an effective dramatic device.In Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. If you want to determine the position and the momentum of an electron, you have a problem. You can’t. and the reason is because once you get a reading on the position, and the momentum changes. Once you get a reading on the momentum, you can’t fix the position. THE ACT OF OBSERBATION CHANGES THAT WHICH IS BEING OBSERVED> The fact that yuen noticed those things happening means something else happened instead. This is the point where her point of view starts getting questionable. “Second rule of storytelling: you can never be too obvious. So here hoes. I did it. I sabotaged the device.”With this she inform the audience she is going to sabotage the whole project“One more time: I made sure it wouldn't work.”Yuen tells the audience how and why she want to make sure it wouldn’t work. “I’m not very trustworthy, you know. I make no guarantees of… I’m a little mixed up. Nonetheless.”“How to sabotage an atomic bomb when you are the only person who really knows what they are doing.” From this she starts to tell the audience the whole plan of her sabotage, step by step.
The fact that yuen noticed those things happening means something else happened instead. This is the point where her point of view starts getting questionable. This phenomenon is called the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. It states the we cannot precisely know both the position of a particle and its momentum (mass times velocity). Its easy to consider this example. Imagine a dark room with a particle in it. In order to find it, we have to turn on a flashlight. When the flashlight hits the particle, we will for an instant know the position but the photons in the light will hit the particle changing its velocity, so we can only know one aspect of a particles behavior with certainty at a given time. This is why we always refer to electrons existing in a probability cloud, since we know where they are likely to be, but aren't sure of an exact position.
