DevOps Leadership roles and responsibilities:
Lead FinTech Delivery Management with experience in DevOps, Agile/Scrum and Continuous Delivery
especially within banking organizations with handling complex long-term focused projects involving multiple
disciplines and business unit.
Provide leadership and direction to high priority and special vehicle projects undertaken by the business.
Evaluate new business requirements with evolving technological developments and recommend appropriate
alternativesolutions to clients. Managing the teamof 45 resources in five geological locations including
(Singapore, US, Mexico, India and China).
StakeholderManagement
Establish an effective stakeholder communication strategy by promoting transparency and collaboration to
incorporate their inputs into planning decisions and foster their understanding of the constraints and
viewpoints.
Managing Common platform for consumer business across all Asia, EMEA, LATAM and US markets. This
platform is chassis for Citi’s consumer banking group comprising of Wealth, Customer, Digital, FX & money
market applications across various line of business with budget of 3.2 billion dollars.
DevOps Delivery Pipeline
Responsible for setting up roadmap & vision for product backlog in terms of User Story management (Sprint
– Iteration– Work items,) using collaborative software development tool (IBM-RTC).
Communicate (business & IT) stakeholders concerning planning and possibilities of deliverables by creating a
Continuous Delivery pipeline for applications using Chef.
Continuous Delivery Coach & Trainer:
Help teams to start with Continuous Delivery, especially continuous deployment. We accomplished this by
coaching the teams on the job. Increase knowledge sharing between teams (located in different countries)
by organizing several Continuous Delivery events and DevOps road shows.
SourceCodeManagement
Developer work Stream management with IBM-RTCand Artifact build management using Jenkins, Maven
for varies technology stack like Java/spring-boot, Tibco, etc. Manage Application backlogs and release
planning in RTC. Build and runtime dependencies managed via Nexus Repositories.
Code CoverageAnalysis
Provide capabilities for Unit testing, source code analysis and overall maturity matrix using Junit, Mocha,
Jococo, Sonar Cube, find bugs and Istanbul, Coveralls. These metrics of continuous inspection enabled us to
establish code quality gateway.
CI/CD Deployment Management
On Commit build, unit testing, source code analysis, deploy, artifact configuration validation, business
transaction sanity, performance run with tools like Jenkins, Maven, BAA/BMA, RLM, SoapUI, AppDynamics,
etc.
Automate CI/CD for each artifact [ear/web/DB/config/lib/batch packages] using release lifecycle
management tool. Achieve daily artifact (~2000) deployment across environments within 6 hours, in line
with agile & anti-fragile development environments.
Build tools and technique to automate synchronization of tibco (global variables) application configuration
(~2.5 million) in all environments of a project with smart change control process.
CloudProvisioning
Provide cloud-computing solutions for banking products on AWS (ECS, SNS, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.) and
Pivotal Cloud Foundry for new development projects on (springBoot) framework, Service Discovery, Elastic
Runtime with custom buildpacks, etc.
Using Dockers, we provide Container as a Service to business applications. We extended version control
traditional associated with application source code, to platform runtime, OS libraries alone with their related
configuration, allowing application code to be truly portable.
We designed integratedlogging framework using tools like (Splunk, Elastic search, Logstash, logIO).

2. The framework includes streaming, indexing and correlation of various component logs for a business
transaction that is visualized with the central Dashboard using Kibana & Grafana.
DeliveryPipeline InformationManagement
An information driven portal that provides connected view of all information data sets viz. artifact lifecycle,
application and infrastructure monitoring, environments’ performance, assets’ license, platform run book,
configuration, security, analytics, etc. from all distributed servers, across all projects on a browser.
Portal provides real time information to various user communities (teams) viz. platform administrator,
application support, application release management, change management, project management, version
control, etc. Develop tools to enhance Chef automation framework using “precise discovery” for task
scheduling and “precise action” for executing task on an event.
