Working as a Testing Engineer.
LTE EPC Project: (6/2015 - current).
LTE is Long-Term-Evolution, commonly marketed as 4G, include UE,
E-UTRAN and EPC. The main component of the SAE (System Architecture
Evolution) architecture is the Evolved Packet Core (EPC), also known as
SAE Core. The goal of the EPC is higher throughput, lower latency, simplified
mobility between Third-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) and non-3GPP
networks, enhanced service control and provisioning, and efficient use of
network resources
- Team size: 7 Engineers.
- Bring up EPC simulator setup (including EPC for Core network and STATE
for Radio Access network) on Linux platform.
- STATE setup: A simulator of UE/eNB, using Aricent Internal
framework which is written based on TCL language for handling Radio
Resource control and Radio Mobility management.
- EPC setup: Composed of several functional entities MME, HSS ,SGW,
PGW, PCRF … to handle Mobility management, Subscriber
information, Policy and charging rule, Resource allocation and usage.
- EMS: An addition component written by python and support GUI for
configuring, monitoring all nodes of EPC.
- Conduct STATE scripts to simulate message flow for UE/eNB
3. - Write Java scripts to configure nodes automatically as per requirements of test
case.
- Executing test case and observe message flow between Core network and
Access network.
- Raise bug and keep track status of bug on Bugzilla, make analysis and provide
to Development team for fixing, write report as test cases result.
GSM-Railway (GSM-R) Phase-2 Project: (1/2015 - 6/2015).
GSM-R is GSM system enhanced with a set of 3GPP specified extensions,
called ASCI (Advanced Speech Call Items) features for railway
communications and applications.
Team size: 20 Engineers.
- Write test case to verify bug is raised from customer
- Bring configuration corresponding with test case requirement and execute the
test cases on FLEXI EDGE and PLUS BTS.
- Review the analysis document for each assigned test case, update log to QC.
- Support to troubleshooting issues occurred in BSC and BTS during test case
executions.
- Raise issues to Development team, JIRA tickets to MSC team in Bangalore,
India to change configuration in MSC side if test case requires.
GF1 BTS Project: (12/2013 - 12/2014).
This is one of new BTSs generations of NSN (Nokia Solution Network)
Team size: 10 Engineers.
- Create subscript for configuration on EM (Element Manager) as requirement
of automation test cases.
- Prepare set up (set up hardware con does commissioning to bring site up ) and
executing test case with both manual and automation.
- Collect, review all the logs and make analysis document for each test case
before update (pass/fail) to QC.
- Discuss with Development team for raising bug of Software on Web Pronto,
and bug of Automation tools on Bugzilla.
- Daily report status to manager.
4. Crockett BTS Project:(8/2013 - 11/2013).
This is one of the largest BTS projects of Aricent and NSN (Nokia Solution
Network) as well. Crockett would be launched to the market as the World’s
first smallest BTS with high capacity and it presented at Mobile World
Congress 2013 in Barcelona.
Team size: 20 Engineers.
- Prepare set up for TDM, Packet Abis over TDM, Packet Abis over PSN and
executing test cases for each.
- Review analysis document for each test case, ensure that logs and analysis
document updated to QC.
- Discuss with Development team, Client before raising any official issues to
Web Pronto.
- Daily report status to manager.
CX Project:(12/2012 - 8/2013).
In this project, we tested software packages for some old BTS generations of NSN
(Metrosite/Ultrasite/Talk Family BTS).
Team size: 5 Engineers.
- Prepare setup and execute the assigned test cases.
- Report and keep track status of bug on Web Pronto.
- Update all the logs, analysis document and status of test case (pass/fail) on QC
(Quality Center).
