How did you attract/address
your audience?
Audience Feedback
• Feedback was gathered from the audience at the
screening of our opening sequence in the
theatre. This was attained through
questionnaires being conducted during the
screening as well as interviews being taken
afterwards.
• The following are the questions asked and the
answers we received:
Question 1:
Did you understand the storyline?

Column1 • All 12 of the participants in the
questionnaire said they did not
understand the storyline.
Although this is not what we
wanted to achieve, it has helped
us see that our story is not
presented clearly enough.
• Due to this, we have now
developed out story and filmed
more scenes in order for the
audience to understand the plot
further.

Did this film feel like the beginning of
a film?

the first question, the majority
of the feedback told us that our
film did not feel like the
beginning of a film.
• We therefore now know that
changes are needed to be
made, we have watched
further opening sequences of
films and will alter our film
accordingly.

• All of the questionnaires
showed us the genre of our
film was understood.
• This shows us how our
techniques were used well and
how our opening sequence
analysis provided us with
enough knowledge to produce
elements of our chosen genre.

• During our screening, the
sound did not play as we had
anticipated. We will make sure
in future to check any errors
beforehand.

Did the editing suit the film and make
it easy to understand?
