Seven Household Chores That Can Help You Lose Weight
Doing the chores at home is something that is essential in maintaining a fairly clean and organized home. A lot of
women want to combine this activity with a workout, to lose some extra weight. We are here to give you some tips on
what kind of chores activities will help you burn the most calories and make you visibly slimmer. Here are the top 7
chores that will help you the most.
The first step of your cleaning routine should be to tidy up the rooms. You can't start cleaning if there are beds to
make, dirty clothes to be put in the laundry basket, and a lot of things that are not in their places. With this activity you
get a tidied up house and a few calories burnt at the same time!
The second chore that can keep you in form is mopping the floors. It doesn't matter how much time you spend in
tidying the house if you don't mop the floor. There are things to be cleaned there, too. This activity can make your
arms stronger and is a great legs train. You will definitely burn some calories in the process! However, if you have
carpets in all of your rooms, you can replace the mopping with vacuuming. This is a great opportunity to exercise by
doing some lunges. Beware though, the vacuum should not be used for something to lean on, it should be your
balance helper, nothing more! With this activity it's like you do cardio and it can definitely help you train your legs!
Another activity that can be beneficial to your legs is squatting! It probably often happens to you to bend to get
something from the lowest drawer or to get the clothes out of the washing machine. The next time you do one of
these things, or a similar one, try to squat, instead of bending, squats can work your thighs and legs and are one of
the must-do activities for legs!
You probably have a washing machine at home. Forget about it! A great workout is to do the laundry with your own
hands. If you spend less than half an hour to wash them with detergent it is a great exercise for your hands. After
they are dry, you can iron them, using more pressure. This activity helps to train your hands and arms and make
them stronger and tougher.
If you have a garden, start taking more care of it and spending more time there! According to some studies,
gardening can help you burn more than 300 calories in not more than one hour. Engaging in this activity helps you
have a beautiful flower garden or plant some vegetables to complete your healthy way of life. Try to spend more time
in the garden and it will surely benefit your whole body inside and out!
Do you have a car? No? Perhaps your spouse does, or another member of your family. Washing the car can help you
lose about 150 calories, which is fair enough. With this activity you train your whole body. You can do squats, ledges,
and other leg activities, combining them with scrubbing and cleaning the car.
The last one is not just a chore or something you have to do. Caring for your children is one of the most pleasant
types of workouts. If you have a baby or a little messy toddler, then you know that you have to be constantly around

them, feed them, bathe them, watch out for them, and so on. These activities can definitely help you lose some extra

Women are often under the impression that they need to eat 1000 calories or less per day to lose weight.
In order to do this they cut back on carbs, eliminate fats from their diet, and swear off foods such as grains and dairy.

Yes, you will lose weight if you cut calories in such a drastic way.
But the weight loss won't last long.
After a few weeks you will run into a wall and your results will suddenly stop.
This is because you aren't giving your body enough food to survive.
Yes, you do need to reduce your caloric intake to lose weight.
But you don't have to do it in such a drastic way.
You can actually eat way more than you think and still lose weight.
For the next week track everything you eat. You can either use a notepad or MyFitnessPal.
This will give you an idea of where you are starting from.
The next week reduce your caloric intake by just 300 calories. This will put you at a deficit and you will start losing
weight.
And the best part is you won't have to starve yourself or give up your favorite foods.
Mistake #2 - Doing Far Too Much Cardio
Women tend to go to the gym and spend hours on the treadmill. The idea is the more cardio they do, the more
calories they will burn.
And the more calories they burn, the more fat they will lose.
Doing countless hours of cardio will initially lead to weight loss.
But once again, that weight loss won't last long.
Even worse is the fact you will start to lose muscle mass. Once that happens you will have no definition and no
shape.
You will actually end up looking skinny and drawn out instead of lean and sexy.
So cut it out with all the cardio ladies.

The human race is like licorice all sorts, you never know what you are going to get. There are as many personalities

what talents you have been given but you have control over what you do with what you have been given.

I have always been skinny; all through my life I meet women from time to time who say "You're too skinny," and so on.
Once a young lady was telling me about her boyfriend and how he looks after himself. He had a good physical body.
She was having a dig at me. At the time I was jogging six miles+ per day and was competing in athletics every
weekend. Sometimes on both the Saturday and Sunday.

As with all of the comments that have been made about me being skinny I have never taken offence nor suffered
from an inferiority complex or low self-esteem because of it. My shape has never bothered me. I have just accepted it
as who I am.
But...
I can understand why women would have their self-esteem attached to their weight when there is so much pressure
on them to have a nice figure, but what the are really doing is living to please others rather than accepting who they
are really are.
It is important to accept who you are and not let your body shape determine your self-worth.
You shouldn't allow comments by others to determine your self-worth either. If others cannot accept who you are then
that is their problem not yours.
The bottom line is that you can only live your life according to your own circumstances and not compare yourself with
others because it will be similar to comparing apples to pears.
Your value is not determined by what others say about you. It not determined by your dress size, or by your
achievements. You may see the achievements of high-profile sports people being applauded on TV but this will all
pass. There are thousands of unsung heroes whom society takes for granted but they do their work day after day
without complaint and without even a modest round of applause.
My suggestion is to focus on a "healthy eating" mindset rather than a "lose weight."
It is far easier to achieve a goal based on what you eat and how much you eat rather than it is to lose weight.
Like all things in life worth striving for, losing weight takes effort and sacrifice and only you can decide whether the
outcome was worth it all.
