Pandavan Para cave in Kerala contains 5,000-year-old human inscriptions and paintings believed to be from Neolithic people. The area is facing destruction from overexploitation of land and resources through mining. This is causing large wells to form, which have led to accidental deaths, and the destruction of the historic hill's natural beauty and tourism potential. Conservation efforts are needed to preserve this important heritage site and biodiversity rich area for future generations.
