This document discusses the design of an interactive system to improve reading habits for ages K-12. The system aims to teach, entertain, and interact with users while increasing reading from books. It focuses on creating a seamless user experience with intuitive interfaces, clear visual design, and accessibility for deaf/visually impaired users. The system will be evaluated based on how fun, enlightening, and surprising it is based on user testing metrics like time spent on site, recall of story elements, and ease of finding extra features.

7. Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation criteria fall under the following headings:

how they react when using the site. To Quantify this, the site would be
considered engaging if the user stays on the site for longer than 2 ½
minutes.
Enlightenment: The user will be asked to find put the name of the
scarecrow throughout the story. They will be tested on this afterwards
to gauge the level of enlightenment achieved.
Surprise & Wonderment: The user will navigate through the site and
find the coloring section, also help section featuring the good fairy.
The test will be if that they can find these sections easily.
