Quick Guide power meter
power calibration
1. start laser
2. set desired power on the display
3. connect power meter to FOX Laser
Attention: Wavelength of laser
and power meter must match!
- connect cable to power meter (1a)
- connect other side of the cable with
FOX AUX 3 port (1b)
4. Put bare fiber into laser fiber port (2)
5. Insert the fiber into surgery handpiece and
connect it with the power meter (3)
- overlap of the fiber to the handpiece
should be between 3 and 5 mm
6. press the ready button (4)
to set laser to ready mode

7. Press and hold the foot switch
c blue screen change
- gray field (5): Display of the set power
- blue field (6): power output at fiber end
8. Simultaneously pressing the two arrow keys
(7) and the foot switch saves the measured
value (if the measured value is outside the
tolerance, the measured value is not saved)

9. The display now shows the measured
value (8)
10. Now the calibration is completed.
The power meter can be seperated from
the FOX
11. Back to main laser screen (9)
- yellow value (10) displays the measured output
power at the end of bare fiber
- black value (11) Display of the set power
12. To set the desired power for the applicati-
on, the ‚+‘ and ‚-‘ buttons can be used as
usual. The power changes affects the actual
measured value.
Attention: The stored settings are cleared as
soon as the fiber is pulled out of
the laser!
