   hire, and funder prospect are all on LinkedIn. Use “Advanced
   Search” to find the perfect match.

 Search results include individuals that are in your network – meaning
  you share one or more connections.

 Good matches are not just about those that fit your profile.
  You’ll also want to review how closely you’re connected.

         – Look at your shared connections.

         – Those individuals who you know personally (called 1st degree
           connections) are most likely to respond to any asks.

         –     2nd degree connections – or “friend of a friend” – should be considered
               based on how well you know the shared connection.

         – Individuals who are connected to you through a board member, staff
           member, or close relationship are more likely to respond because
           someone they know is very closely tied to your organization.

Explore your network Step B: Review matches to find the strongest links  Search results include individuals that are in your network – meaning you share one or more connections.  Good matches are not just about those that fit your profile. You’ll also want to review how closely you’re connected. – Look at your shared connections. – Those individuals who you know personally (called 1st degree connections) are most likely to respond to any asks. – 2nd degree connections – or “friend of a friend” – should be considered based on how well you know the shared connection. – Individuals who are connected to you through a board member, staff member, or close relationship are more likely to respond because someone they know is very closely tied to your organization.
