10. Awakened “ Let one control speech and mind And do no wrong deed with the body. If the home is well stocked with goods, Let one have faith, be gentle, Share his goods with others and speak kindly.”
11. “ It is not possible that one who is himself unrestrained, undisciplined and unquenched could restrain, discipline and quench others. But it is very possible that one who is himself restrained, disciplined and quenched could make others like that also.”
13. “ Just as the River Ganges flows towards, inclines towards, tends towards the east – so too, one who cultivates and develops the Noble Eightfold Path flows towards, inclines towards and tends towards Nirvana.”
14. Awakened “ There are these six dangers of being addicted to drink: loss of wealth, increase in quarrels, ill health, loss of reputation, indecent exposure and impaired intelligence.”
15. “ The thought of love, of compassion, of sympathetic joy, of equanimity, if cultivated and developed, is of great fruit and profit.”
16. “ Do not be afraid of doing good deeds. It is another name for happiness. I know well that good deeds lead to a ripening, a blossoming, which is pleasing, joyous and happy for a long time.”

18. “ Good health is the highest gain, And contentment is the greatest wealth. Trust is the best of kinsmen, And Nirvana is the highest happiness.”

20. Awakened “ For the mindful one, happiness increases; For the mindful one, things go better, Yet he is not freed from enemies. But he who both day and night takes delight in harmlessness, Sharing love with all that lives - He finds enmity with none.”
21. “ Apply yourself to solitude. One who is given to solitude knows things as they really are.”
