Before the pandemic, 85% of the working population experienced pain like back, neck or shoulder pain. Musculoskeletal disorders caused up to 44% of absenteeism. Working from home has exacerbated these issues, with 27% experiencing moderate or severe psychological distress. To help employees, the company customized existing services to improve ergonomics and posture for working from home through options like webinars, video consultations, WhatsApp consultations, group exercise sessions, a posture coaching app, and book on posture. The goal is to prevent pain and absenteeism by promoting better ergonomics and exercise habits while working remotely.
