What are you already working on?
What sort of multi-touch book are you
planning to create?
Dream project: given vast amounts of time,
and a budget to hire a graphic designer, a
multi-media creator, a photographer, etc.,
what sort of book would you make with IBA?
10. Getting started -
Organize your media in a desktop folder...
Desktop file folders arranged like this make it easy to
locate content while working in IBA.
11. Option: start your book
in Pages.
Easier to make multiple versions; ePub, PDF, etc.
Probably easier to outline, organize the text, but
you might want to move it into IBA sooner, rather
than later, so you incorporate a full palette of
multi-media.
12. EVIL Apple? (EULA terms)
The initial legal ambiguity has been resolved--You
own your content.
Free books can be distributed in iBooks 2, or any
other way you wish such as a DropBox link, or
email (good luck with that as the files can be
huge).
IBA format multi-touch books can only be sold
through the iBooks store.
