3. Overview
Wassal Bil3arabi Edition is an easy to use, mobile service that enables you to locate
any establishment in Egypt by location, name or keyword. Just enter your search parameters
and select from a list of results to see it on the map.
Wassal Bil3arabi Edition will run on the Symbian S60 platform and has been
optimized for touch‐screen devices such as the Nokia 5800 and Nokia N97 devices with location
services enabled.
Note that Wassal Bil3arabi Edition is beta software. Please bear with us while we
iron out any bugs for our next release!

4. Installation:
There are two options to install Wassal on your Smart Phone:
1‐ Using Nokia PC Suite.
2‐ Using Bluetooth
Installation using Nokia PC suite:
‐ First install you Nokia PC Suite Application on your computer. You can download it for free from
www.nokia.com
‐ After the installation the get connected wizard will run automatically.
‐ Follow the steps until your mobile be connected with your computer.

5. ‐ Open Nokia PC Suite and click on the application icon to install the application, or just drag and
drop the application onto the image of the mobile device.
‐ If you clicked on the installation icon, the Nokia application installer will start.

6. ‐ Browse your computer for Wassal SIS file, then click the install button to install the
application.
‐ Congratulations, now you can use Wassal!

7. Installation Using Bluetooth:
‐ Send the Wassal SIS file to your mobile by using your Bluetooth device.
‐ You well receive the file as a message:
‐ Click on the message in the inbox tab.

8. ‐ You will be prompted to confirm the installation.
‐ And choose “Yes” to any subsequent messages.
‐ Install the application in the C: folder.

9. ‐ After installing the application you will find it under the applications folder.
‐ Now you are ready to find almost anything in Cairo. Click on the Wassal Icon to start using
the application.

10. Using Wassal:
‐ When you open Wassal the application will ask you to allow it to connect to the internet. You
will need to accept this request since all Wassal services require an internet connection.

11. GPS Screen
‐ The GPS Screen enables you to enter a keyword (four characters minimum) and a radius in
Kilometers from your current location. (Ex: restaurant). Press the Wassalni button to get a list of
results.
‐ The next page lists results so that you can select any result you want. You can scroll through
these results by swiping your finger across the screen, starting with your finger depressed below
the list and making a smooth motion upwards.
‐ Tap any result to get its details.

12. ‐ When you select a listing, the next page will show all the details available on your inquiry. Please
wait until the map is loaded.
‐ On the map you will see two markers. The green one shows approximately * where you are and
the red marker shows the place you are looking for.
‐ Now that you have found what you are looking for, you may call the place directly from the
application by tapping on call button. The app will prompt you for permission to call the
number.

13. Name Screen
‐ The Name Screen enables you to enter an establishment name (four characters minimum) and
select a city. (Ex: restaurant and Cairo). Press the Wassalni button to get a list of results.
‐ In the next page the list of results appears to you, you can select any result you want and
continue as in the GPS tab.

14. Address Screen
‐ The Address Screen enables you to find an establishment by keyword anywhere as long as you
know a little about where it is located. Enter a keyword (four characters minimum) and as a
minimum enter its street or its district. (Ex: restaurant and Maadi, Cairo). Press the Wassalni
button to get a list of results.
‐ In the next page the list of results appears to you, you can select any result you want and
continue as in the GPS tab.
*Notes:
‐ GPS coordinates accuracy depends on your device.
‐ If your device doesn't have a GPS chip, Wassal will approximate your location using the
nearest cell communication tower.
