What are the audience expectations of short
films?
What are audience expectations of feature
films?
What are audience expectations about social

Do your productions use genre conventions to
‘speak’ to your target audience?

Consider how your film poster defies genre as a
concept. Consider how it can, arguably, be
possible to categorize your films into types.
However, you have deliberately blurred lines
between graphic design, art and film. Is it still
possible to apply genre theory here? If not, why
not? And how does this differ from film?
This is an interesting discussion!!
