The National Pension Scheme was launched by Pension Fund Regularity and Development
Authority (PFRDA) on 1st January 2004 .The main objective of this scheme was to provide
retirement income to all the citizens of India.
Every NPS subscriber is allotted a unique Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN). You
