Profile
Based in Skokie, Illinois, Command Transportation is a
shipping logistics company which proudly refers to itself
as a "freight broker" on its corporate website.
Since its founding in 1997, Command has sustained
consistent growth, with 2013 seeing $406 million in
sales. Also in 2013, Transport Topics, the newspaper of
the Trucking and Freight industry, ranked Command as
#15 in the Top 25 Freight Brokerage Firms.
Boasting 500+ employees, Command prides itself on a
culture of hard work, hard play, and community. For
example, all proceeds at the company sponsored coffee
bar go to Children's Memorial Hospital, whose kids
design the company's holiday card each year.
