Many people mistakenly assume that people are rational beings. They are not. On the surface, rationale seems to be behind our decisions, but the source from which the decisions originate speak only the language of emotion.
Two basic types of elemental energies move each of us: pain - happiness.
2. Pain - happiness
Many people mistakenly
assume that people are rational
beings. They are not. On the
surface, rationale seems to be
behind our decisions, but the
source from which the
decisions originate speak only
the language of emotion.
Two basic types of elemental energies move each of
us: pain - happiness.

3. We avoid pain and search for
happiness
We do everything in order to avoid pain. We continuously
chase happiness, look for the path to a happier life. This
is fine. Basically, that's the way it should work. The failure
is that we are not able to see that in many cases, the way
to happiness is paved with pain.
We need to be able to take the short-term pain and
inconvenience sometimes, to get to the path of
happiness. Since our nervous system inherently rejects
pain, it's possible that we cannot find the way to
happiness, because we do not consciously accept pain.

4. We avoid pain and search for
happiness
If we do not recognize this, we deviate from the
way to happiness, compromise and live an
average life.
Although we could have endured the temporary
pain, couldn't we?
In this case, we have to recognize that pain is
temporary and has a loftier goal, which is why it
should be tolerated.

5. What is the way out?
Of course, there is a solution for this as well.
It is clear that we avoid pain and search for
happiness. If you could succeed in assigning more
pain to not doing things then to doing them, you
would start. Let me give you an example from the
stock market. You have already lost a lot of money
and you just want to give it up, but you know that
in the long run, it would be very good if it would
work and you were able to learn it.
5
6. What is the way out?
Most people give it up because of the short-term
pain and will never be able to get to the success.
If you are able to see your long-term success and
to take the short-term pain in the hope of that,
you'll go on, you’ll stand up again and you will do
it, you will reach what you want. That means you
assign more pain to the long term lack of success
than to short-term pain, so you will have the
proper motivation to get over the initial
difficulties.
6
7. What is the way out?
If you are able to think in long-term and keep future
success and results in mind, you will not run away from
short-term pain.
Consider it as an obstacle that you must jump over in
order to reach your goal. The core identity (see previous
article) is able to get over the pain and fears, as it is
strong and it wants to create! Let it prevail. In order to
become a person who deserves his goals, you have to
develop a lot and a lot of pain awaits you on your way. If
you do not bear it, you avoid success and fulfillment, ie.
you avoid everything you were born for, every reason
why you're here on earth.
7
8. So there are two formulas
short-term pain + avoiding it =
short-term happiness + long-term pain
short-term pain + enduring it =
short-term pain + long-term happiness.
It is up to you whether you are able to endure short-term
pain to get long-term happiness in return!
