This document summarizes Linked Open Government Data (LOGD) initiatives in Vienna, Austria. While there is no official LOGD strategy, individuals and projects have worked to advance LOGD. They established practices like using Creative Commons licenses and the CKAN platform. An informal working group helped connect national and international data catalogs. They also worked with communities like OKFN.AT to engage interested parties and build support. As a result, several LOGD projects have emerged, including a semantic portal and product catalog, an experimental city data catalog, and efforts to publish basic government datasets as linked open data.
