  1. 1. Activ8 the Children Activ8 the World Based in Manisa, Turkey; Manisa Youth Group is encouraging young people in the city to be active participants in their societies. For this reason, we aim to involve all young people regardless of their age, gender, social status or sexual orientation. Our vision is to indicate children situations in Manisa. Furthermore to raise awareness about children who work in mines, manufacture, and shine shoes from the age of 15 to 19. In this respect, we carry out activities with the aim of protecting and improving the social, cultural values and children’ rights via TV, Radio and Social Media. The reason that Manisa Youth Group organizes a training course with young people and youth workers is to address the youth empowerment with the young people. Moreover we believe that the ideas produced among peer will be the most efficient way in track of solutions. Therefore, with this project, the participants (the youth workers and the young) are expected to share their experiences in their locals about the approaches to the children in youth works. This mutual sharing is another key in an intercultural work in order to work within a global perspective by bringing local and national to the ground. Through Project, the participants will shoot a short-film that reveals the child labor’s life. The contents will be showing everyday problems, dangers, working conditions and family pressure. This film will be composed of their ideas as young people. Aim & Objectives The main aim of Activ8 the Children Activ8 the World is to reveal child labor’ life in addressing the essence of the film. Objectives  To see conditions have led to the existence of child labor.  To learn the injustices against child laborers in the past and now  To find some of the consequences of children trapped in hazardous work. During the project activities, participants will attend meetings with authorities, employers, community members and school managers. This event help young people from everywhere to improve their career, employment and entrepreneurship, give them a chance to reflect on their passions and take big steps to achieve professional goals. Contents of the Course There will be open space for sharing experiences and knowledge. There will be visits to the partners of the hosting organization for new models to be practiced and developed.
