A clear boundary
helps a Neighborhood maintain a
clearly identifiable character.

3. The Oakland Cemetery wall at Boulevard
defines a boundary between Cabbagetown,
Grant Park, and the city of the departed. The

8. Then, head far

14. This building, where Waldo Street ends
at Glenwood Avenue, housed a Corner
Grocery during the 1950’s where many
neighborhood children walked for
after-school ice cream cones (carry-
out).

15. This slide show is adapted from one that
was used to illustrate some key design
principles to neighbors and a local
developer and to achieve common
ground to allow the owner to develop
his property without further delay.
