MTV is an American basic cable and satellite television channel owned by the MTV
Networks Music & Logo Group, a unit of the Viacom Media Networks division
of Viacom. The channel is headquartered in New York City, New York. MTV was
launched on 1st of August, 1981 and the basic purpose of the channel was to
play music videos guided by television personalities known as "video jockeys," or VJs.
In its early years, MTV's main target demographic were young adults, but
today, MTV's programming is primarily aimed at adolescents in addition to young
adults.
MTV has spawned numerous sister channels in the U.S. and affiliated channels
internationally, some of which have become independent. MTV has been criticized
because of the adult content and how it could affect the audience, still this channel is
very successful.

6. 8XM !
8XM is a very famous Pakistani music television
channel, broadcast since 2011. 8XM airs all types of music
old and new, Hollywood, Bollywood and Lollywood songs. It
supports only legal content. It also entertains their listeners
with jokes of some animated cartoons which are in the local
language targeting the audience of Pakistan. It is a Licensed
Content music channel in Pakistan. It launched after
the 9XM Indian music channel.

7. 4 Music !
4Music is a music and entertainment channel in the United Kingdom and available on some
digital television providers in the Republic of Ireland. The channel launched on 15 August
2008, replacing The Hits. It is the only Channel 4-branded channel within the Box
Television network. It is available on Freeview, Virgin Media, Sky and Smallworld Cable. On 2
April 2013, all Box Television channels went free-to-air on satellite, apart from 4Music which
went free-to-view. As a result the channels were removed from the Sky EPG in Ireland.

ARY Musik is a 24-hour Urdu-English music channel from Pakistan.
It was created and launched launched from Dubai in 2003 under the leadership of the CEO
Salman Iqbal and multiple Award Winner VP Wiqar Ali Khan. But now Danish Khwaja (ExHead of the ARY Creative Workshop) is managing this channel. ARY Musik focuses especially
on South Asian communities throughout the world, particularly in Pakistan, Middle East
and Europe. It is a component of the ARY Digital Network, which is a subsidiary ofARY Group.
ARY Musik channel is famous for being the first Pakistani channel to start pure youth reality
based shows that are groundbreaking.Although ARY is basically from Pakistani music
channel, but it also airs a lot of Indian songs and music since Indian music is immensely
appreciated in Pakistan.

B4U Music is a music-themed digital TV channel available on more than 8 different
satellites, in more than 100 countries including the USA, UK, Europe, Middle
East, Africa, Mauritius, Canada and India. The channel is part of the B4U Group, owned
by Lakshmi Mittal, Kishore Lulla and Gokul Binani.
The channel broadcasts a mixture of contemporary Bollywood, Indipop, Bhangra, and
international music. Programs include star interviews, artist profiles, concerts and chart
rundowns, as well as video request shows.
There are 4 different versions of the channel available in the UK, North America, the Middle
East and South Asia. Each variation of the channel produces a quantity of local
programming which reflects the culture, traditions and tastes of the local population of the
Indian Diaspora.
