3. Preface
One can never deny for the importance of the practical exposure of the
problem for its better understanding and greater grip of coming out with an
industrially acceptable solution. Being the management students and performing
small practical even is in itself an experience of responsibility on my head. The
summer project is certainly the best chance to work in the Industry and have
practical understanding of market condition.
In view of above, this report has been completed as a part of summer training
prescribed for the Master of Business Administrations. This had been made in
order to know How the best return given by 3 AMC through NAV comparison.
This will help us to know the factors which affect the Investors preference
towards market and also the risk and return on investment. For this purpose i
have made a detail NAV analysis of equity schemes. This has helped us to take
data from the internet. Thus, results oriented by this project help us to find how
the 3 AMC performing his equity schemes in mutual fund and how various
transactions are done in Mutual fund.
I have chosen this company because:
I think I had a good scope in terms of different mutual fund selling to be learnt
practically. HDFC AMC LTD. Offers all types of Mutual Funds at one place can
also be called all in one. I think I have acquired the overview of each and every
Funds and services in detail and enriched my knowledge to the extent I had
expected.

5. Executive Summary
As a part of our MBA curriculum, I have done my internship training at
HDFC AMC LTD, Baroda. In this report I am going to share my experience in the
company for the period of 7 week from 15 May To 7 July. During the internship, I
also undertake Detail analysis titled “Comparisons of Top Equity Schemes in 3
AMC”.
After 14 days of training, I started to prepare the questionnaire for the title of the
project with the help of internal as well as external guide. They help me to
choose this topic and also guide me to work on this topic. Then after I have been
given training on derivatives and commodity and also how the various investors
are trading on the exchange in future contract and commodity market
I had gathered the information of different scheme of product like equity
associated with different Company through the Internet and provided
Information by external guide my findings & conclusion through the Analysis of
5 year NAV of different 3 AMC of 9 equity fund to the company so that they frame
suitable terms and conditions, for an expansion, growth & development and to
get associated HDFC AMC LTD.
The study starts with a brief insight into the evolution of the Indian Mutual fund
industry including 3 AMC like HDFC, RELIANCE, & ICICI and the present
scenario. As mentioned earlier the study is on return and dividend given by the
investors.
I am also Achieving target of selling 55 mutual funds SIP and 1 lakhs LUMSUM,
the detail of selling 55 SIP and 1 lakhs LUMSUM attached with the project.
