t Pray for Ken Lentz who is still at U of M Hospital for
treatment of his pancreatitis.
Pray for Al Anderson who is in the Meijer Heart Center
for treatment of his congestive heart failure.
t Pray for Jean Foulkes as she will be undergoing a total
knee replacement on her left knee on March 13 at Holland
Hospital.
t Pray that Dave Timmer will feel good in Florida and it will be a great
much-needed vacation for Dave and Judy.
t Pray for our church family as Pastor Rob & Amy prepare to leave to
minister to a new church in Massillon Ohio.

t For continued healing for all who have had recent illnesses, surgeries
and medical procedures.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY
The last Ladies Evening Bible Study on the Book of James will be held on
Thursday, March 20, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the church. Study questions can
be picked up at the Women’s Ministry Counter. No childcare is provided.

INTERESTED IN BEING IN A GOLF LEAGUE?
Parkside is considering having another golf league this year at Macatawa
Legends on Tuesday nights. More information will be coming soon.
RUNNING EVENTS
Start training now for 2 upcoming events! Parkside will hold the Parkside
Pure 5K race on 5/17 and The Holland-Haven Marathon will be held on 9/6.
Parkside is one of the sponsors of the Holland-Haven Marathon (and the
starting point) for the 26.2 mile course from Holland to Grand Haven.
You can also participate by doing the Half Marathon which is 13.1 miles
from West Olive to Grand Haven. More info is available at:
www.hollandhavenmarathon.com.

MEN’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY

JR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP WEDNESDAY NIGHT
This Wednesday - We will be continuing with The Life of Moses:
“Provision in the Desert.” Fun-Games-Snacks-Fellowship!

The Biblical Man is a Bible study designed to awaken the awareness of
biblical manhood and to provide a portrait of the man God created. The
study specifically focuses on the three main areas of every man's life:
personal, work and family and will answer questions such as: how do I
balance work and family, how do I get along with my boss, how do I get
along with my wife, and how do I do all of these things and honor God at
the same time?
Join this Men’s Study, being taught by Shane Lambert, on Wednesday
nights from 6:45-7:45 p.m. in the board room now through April 30.
There is no charge for the class and no pre-registration. Just show
up and bring your Bible, pen and note paper.

SR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP SUNDAY NIGHT
Tonight: The lesson will be
The Life of Moses: “A Day at the Sea.”

April 9-10 Chicago Overnight for all
youth! $59 includes hotel, train ride,
3 meals, Chicago Cubs baseball game

SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT, SPEAK LIFE! Right to Life of Michigan is again
sponsoring their High School Oratory Contest. Research one of the issues below and
make a 5-7 minute prolife presentation to a panel of judges: Abortion, Euthanasia,
Infanticide, Embryonic Stem Cell Research/Human Cloning. Local prizes are $250,
$150, $100; State Prizes are $500, $300, $200; National prizes are $1000, $750, $500

MEN’S RETREAT Think Spring! There’s still time to get your guy friends
together and plan to attend “Spring Training” at Grace Adventures on March 14-16

The Holland Sentinel is donating Sunday newspapers to the
church in support of youth outreach. If you would like to

  • 4. MEN’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY JR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP WEDNESDAY NIGHT This Wednesday - We will be continuing with The Life of Moses: “Provision in the Desert.” Fun-Games-Snacks-Fellowship! The Biblical Man is a Bible study designed to awaken the awareness of biblical manhood and to provide a portrait of the man God created. The study specifically focuses on the three main areas of every man's life: personal, work and family and will answer questions such as: how do I balance work and family, how do I get along with my boss, how do I get along with my wife, and how do I do all of these things and honor God at the same time? Join this Men’s Study, being taught by Shane Lambert, on Wednesday nights from 6:45-7:45 p.m. in the board room now through April 30. There is no charge for the class and no pre-registration.
