Wild horses are large, four-legged mammals that usually live on flat plains in Africa and Asia. They can run very fast to escape predators like lions. Their eyes allow them to see in front and behind at the same time, and their bones are light but strong. Their hooves, made of keratin, protect the foot bone. Domestic horses live all over the world.
