2. How is the band represented? The band is shown as very bright and lively which is shown in the high paced music but it also shows the band is all about the music as it actually shows them playing the instruments and their own passion for music is shown with how they perform. They are also present as very energetic which is a positive image fort he band as it makes them entertaining. Also the singer is shown to be the leader as she is shown brightly and plays with the fact she has bright hair and this makes her stand out from the band and the background. But her and the band are always shown together to show her and the band are linked. The band is also shown as an image of the young teenage rebellious and is shown with the music and the actions in the video and is shown by the background as well which is appealing to there target audience which is the teenage market but also it shows their own styles and personality which is shown through the clothing and actions as well. Also the lead singers clothing is completely different from everyone else. Overall it shows that the band is all about the music and show their passion and characteristics through all accepts of the video.

What relationship exists between the images and the lyrics? ‘I' am the one with the biggest smile’ she smiles which shows a link between the band and lyrics to show they care about them and it means something to them but there is also a flash effect which could mean the flashing of teeth and can mean something good or sneaky as it has that element which gives it an mysterious element to the music but shows that the lyrics and images have a link together and that it shows that lyrics and images should be linked together as the images make the video and the lyrics make the video but they don’t need to be directly linked and can be story like with the lyrics.. All the way through the lyrics and the images are sometimes linked like with the example I have used, the lyrics are used to make a story like video as its about 2 girls fighting over a boy and the images used show a story by using the lyrics that are there they made a story like video which also shows a different way of making a video by the lyrics not always being directly linked to images but the lyrics and the images are still related but just not at the exact time the words are spoken but the images are used to tell the story of the lyrics and what they mean.

4. What relationship exists between the music and the images? The music slows down and becomes more mellow and not as lively as previously been shown and that it shows this nice, love image between this girl and boy and maybe to show that they song maybe a love song but with twist and love is shown by the heart over the boys head and it maybe shows that this is what the song is all about and slows down the energy to show what the true meaning of the song is and gives it that love song and meaningful feel as the beat is slowed right down like other love songs. The beat of the music gets faster and faster like before only when the other girl comes along to show anger but also to show that action is shown by the beat used and that a lively beat should be used when there is action in the video but the high fast beat can show how passionate the band is but also the rage of the fighting over a boy in this video which makes it personal.

Inter textual references The background of where the band is playing separately from video the RIOT that is written on the wall is actually from the album cover of this song and the album is called RIOT as well to show that they are always linked back their music it means something to them and they love the music they make and it fits in with the rebellious teenage look. Also shows that song is on that album and shows that its paramore music and album no one else's This is the actual band paramore shown in the story side of the video and not the separate part which they have been shown in all the way through the video, shows that the issues is personal to the band and probably the lead singer. Also shows that them appearing in the story part shows that the band are passionate about their music and always want to be involved in it, and shows that they show their own personal characteristics through the music and the video.
