The document discusses the Lovaas Model of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for treating autism. It describes ABA and Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) as the core intervention strategies used in the Lovaas Model. DTT breaks skills into small parts and teaches them through repeated practice with prompts, feedback, and reinforcement. The Lovaas Model involves intensive, home-based ABA therapy early on, then focuses on generalization of skills to the home and school environments.
