good” for the society (Lunn,2021,p.3). The
municipal government is responsible for the
recreation needs of the society they “encourage
the development of recreation programs and
facilities” (Lunn,2021,p.5).

3. Enver creek secondary
Located in Surrey, BC at 14505 84 Ave
Recreation, coaching and education: For
public sector it is an example of recreation
because it is “accessible” for the “general
public” as we are taxpayers (Lunn,2021,p.3).
Coaching and education are an example
because this is provided for all of the students
that attend.

4. Bear creek park

Recreation: This is an example of
recreation because it is essential for a
“persons physical and social well-being
and to overall quality of life”
(Lunn,2021,p.5). This is place free of
cost and is ”necessary for society” and
for “public good” (Lunn,2021,p.3).

5. Landmark cinema Guildford
Located in Guildford town Centre at 15051

Recreation: This is an example of a
commercial recreation because it is
“provided for a cost” and the business makes
“profit” from it (Lunn,2021,p.6). This service
is for the “general public” for whoever can
“afford the service” (Lunn,2021,p.7).

6. Fitness World
Located in Surrey, BC 13821 Central Ave.
Recreation: This is an example of
recreation because it is ”provided for a
cost” and it for “specific market group”
or “general public” (Lunn,2021,p.6/7).
The gym is for whoever can afford to go
here and typically for individuals that
like to stay active.

7. Holy Cross Regional high school
Located in Surrey,BC at 16193 88 Ave.
Recreational, Coaching and education:
This is an example of commercial
recreation because it is a private school
“provided for a cost” (Lunn,2021,p.6).
The school provides coaching and
physical education to anyone that can
afford the service (Lunn,2021).

8. Kids play foundation
Located in Surrey, BC
Recreation and education: This is an
example for both because they are a non
profit organization that holds sports
tournaments, conferences and many
other events to keep the youth away from
violence, gangs and drugs. They have a
drug and education team to educate the
youth. A volunteer organization “replys
on members” in which this foundation
does because of the volunteers this is
possible (Lunn,2021,p.10).

9. Surrey food bank
Located in Surrey, BC at 13478 78 Ave
Education: This is an example education
because they connect with many other
organizations to help raise awareness
and educate others to help with life
challenges. This is “non-profit
organization which is run on “donations”
by volunteers. (Lunn,2021,p.9)

10. Vancouver United Sports Club
Located in Surrey,BC at 13462 81 ave
Recreation and coaching: This is an
example of rec and coaching because it is
a community soccer club anyone can
join. This soccer club is rely's on
volunteers to keep it running and has
fundraisers and sponsors (Lunn,2021).
