Twitter's Sponsored Tweets
You can sponsor a Tweet to make it visibile on the
timelines of users that are not following your profile. It is a
normal tweet, except for a 'Promoted by' highlighted text.
Tumblr's Radar
Each tumblr post can be
promoted and become an Ad
that appear on users timeline.
That is the only type advertising
