The CHAMP program aims to increase attainment of manufacturing degrees and certificates in Colorado by aligning training programs with industry needs. It creates a pipeline of skilled workers for advanced manufacturing jobs through partnerships between community colleges and employers. The program offers certificates in welding, machining, and other fields at multiple colleges. It also provides ways for students to earn credit for prior work or military experience and supports them with navigators to help complete their training and find high-wage manufacturing jobs.
