1. Commercial Theatre,
Are big shows, set in well known places like central London, with massive
audiences, advertised to the highest level to get as much money as they can
out of the sales, so any shows, exhibitions, dances that are large scale use
commercial organisations to get loads of money .An example of a commercial
theatre is the west end, because of its famous plays. Commercial
organisations could be the grand opening to a new film in Trafalgar square
which is so big and would receive a lot of money out of it.
Public Theatre
Are shows that are for smaller audiences and are much more affordable. This
is not as large as commercial theatres and are advertised to a lower level so
in newspapers or local ones instead of major billboards in well known places
like commercials ones. An example of a public organisation would be the Paul
Robinson theatres that are always sending leaflets and comments in the local
newspaper to advertise their screenings and plays.
Voluntary Theatre
Are shows for much smaller audiences and do not receive or ask for money
but they still put all the energy and enthusiasm the other two would put. The
point of them is to attract more publicity for free and show people wonderful
plays and maybe art exhibitions, dance shows and to educate also teaching
them new skills
The biggest difference between the three of them, is
how big the audiences are and how far they would go
to earn money and to advertise for example
shows.Comercial Organisations do things to a much
bigger scale then the other two and public and
voluntary are more local.
