I’m an activist, a writer, an educator, and father to a wonderful young adult. I thrive on meeting and interacting with creative people engaged in diverse intellectual, artistic, and activist projects and endeavors. My passion is working for social justice and my life also includes a variety of intellectual, wilderness, artistic, and urban adventures. For the last 15 years I’ve spent a great time living and learning in Chiapas, Mexico while traveling to many parts of the world. Currently, I'm living and working in Chiapas, visiting San Diego every few months, and traveling internationally about two months out of the year.
