4. There is no one
righteous, not even one.
Romans 3:10

5. For all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God.

6. For the wages of sin is
death, but the gift of God is
eternal life is Christ Jesus

7. But God demonstrates his
own love for us in this:
while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

8. For God so loved the world
that he gave his only son,
that whoever believes in
him shall not perish, but
have eternal life.
John 3:16

9. If you confess with your mouth
that Jesus is Lord, and believe in
your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you
believe and are justified, and it is
with your mouth that you
confess and are saved.

10. Everyone who calls on
the name of the Lord will
be saved.

11. For it is by grace you have been
saved, through faith – and this is
not of yourselves, it is the gift of
God – not by works, so that no one
can boast. For we are God’s
workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus to do good works.

25. That’s why we can be so sure that every
detail in our lives of love for God is
worked into something good.
The Message

27. God knew what he was doing from the
very beginning. He decided from the
outset to shape the lives of those who
love him along the same lines as the life
of his Son. The Son stands first in the
line of humanity he restored. We see the
original and intended shape of our lives
there in him.
