Fizzy Drinks Inc.Me and my partner would like an advert to be created for the new drink
that the company have produced. They would like the advert to be viewed online, on
YouTube. They would also like the advert to either have a humour side or simple and
straight to the point. They would like a new logo to be designed for this new drink and
they would like me and my partner to decide what the bottle will look like. They also
want the advert to be between 30 to 60 seconds long. Our audience we have chosen for
the new drink will be teenagers and young adults age 16 to 25 years old. Me and my
partner Alicia have decided not to have a formal script because there isn’t much talking
in the advert, there is a voice over at the end but they do not say much.
The file format that we will be using for the advert is MOV. MOV is a commonly used
multimedia format often used for saving movies and other video files; uses a
proprietary compression process developed by Apple Computer; well-suited with both
Macintosh and Windows platforms.
There are 2 types of compression, lossy and lossless. The lossy compression is very
common, it is used to compress multimedia data i.e. audio, videos. Also it’s used a lot
in applications such as steaming media. It links to date compression techniques where
a small amount of data is lost. It attempts to remove pointless information. Lossy
methods provide high degrees of compression and result in very small compressed
files, but there is a certain amount of loss when they are restored.
Lossless compression is required for text and data files such as bank records and text
articles. In lossless compression you do not lose any information and the output is an
exact copy of the input. However, it uses more memory than lossy compression and the
compression ratio is not as good.Lossless data compression is used in many
applications. Lossless compression is used in cases where it is important that the
original and the decompressed data be identical. During lossless compression all of the
information is completely restored.
Streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-
user while being sent by a provider refers to the process of delivering media in this
style. You can do streaming media on mobile phones, iPods, computers, laptops. There
is many ways of streaming methods, for examplewhen downloading a file, the entire
file is saved onto your computer which you can open and view. You could do this only on
your computer at one point but now that mobile phones have internet access you can
download songs on to your mobile as well as videos. Downloads can sometimes be
quick and easy, when dealing with music, which means that you get the song pretty
much straight away.The file is sent to the user in a constant stream, and the user
watches it as it arrives. The Advantages is that no waiting Is involved, disadvantage is
that the ones you may streaming could be dangerous.
