Inform, prevent, assist

1. Protection of children
Many migrants are minors, neither prepared nor informed.
Planète Enfants intervenes in deterrent and informative purposes with schools, families and in public
places.
Campaigns are conducted to establish papers for children, which are their only protection against
exploitation.

2. Creation and animation of
information offices
Planète Enfants opened 2
information offices on risks
and precautions to take for
migrants.
We send them the legal
conditions to emigrate,
intermediate agencies
recorded by authorities,
possible jobs by country and
the accommodation
conditions.

3. A volunteer network
Nearly 300 volunteers, residents of the villages, have been trained to identify candidates for migration.
Their role: give these people a first level of information and refer them to our centers.

4. Information to the
general public
We have at heart to explain to as many migration issues and raise awareness of the importance of good
preparation.
Our means of action: rallies, radio spots, street theatre, brochures...

5. Direct assistance to the most vulnerable
We offer alternatives to women who are the most vulnerable to the risks of emigration.
Depending on their desires and their opportunities, we help them to set up a revenue-generating
activity: commerce, tea house, livestock, bicycles or mobile repair, gardening...

6. PHOTO
A residential center for victims of exploitation or treaty has been implemented.
It provides psychological support, with access to care and legal advices.
