Position : INSPECTION ENGINEER (MECHANICAL) (Level II)
Job Profile
• Prepare the quality plan and inspection procedure.
• Responsibilities include monitoring and inspection according to the Inspection and test
plan for the entire Equipments includes reactors, glass lined equipments, cladded
reactors, tank (atmospheric and pressurized), heat exchangers, agitator nutsch filter,
rotary vacuum dryer, etc,.
• Ensuring the works are performed in accordance with the specifications and Test Plan
procedures
• Ensuring implementation of Quality Control Plan, Procedure and Inspection.
• Responsible for Inspection of STATIC Equipments as per ASME Section-Vlll and
recommended tolerance.
• Final documentation checking and approval.
• Prepare stagewise Inspection Reports and Maintain records of inspection.
• Reviews/witness of welder qualification tests, WPS and PQR according to ASME
Section IX.
• Expediting/follow up for timely delivery of equipments as per Purchase order & submitted
fabrication schedule.
• Prepare technical comparison as well as recommendation for pumps, blowers, agitator
nutsch filter, rotary vacuum dryer, Glass lined reactors and tanks, etc. and continous
follow up with vendors for submission of revised technical offer as per requirement

2. • Sound knowledge of AFBC boilers (GA drg and P&ID), coal handling system, pneumatic
ash handling system and multi effect evaporator since helped in preparing technical
comparison and recommendation and regular inspection visits.
