Thermodynamics is a branch of
physics concerned with heat and
temperature and their relation to
energy and work. It defines
macroscopic variables, such as internal
energy, entropy, and pressure, that
partly describe a body of matter or
radiation.

6. T-S charts
 A T-s diagram is the most frequently used diagram for
analyzing energy transfer system cycles because the
work done by or on the system and the heat added to
or removed from the system can be visualized on the
T-s diagram. By the definition of entropy, the heat
transferred to or from a system equals the area under
the T-s curve of the process.

involving "Enthalpy" on one of the
