We are now in recovery phase and our focus needs to shift towards LONG TERM BUSINESS GROWTH. Customer service, Talent Development, Talent Pipeline, Research & Development, New Products and Markets had all taken a back seat. It's time to open the gate for these investments to help drive long term business growth. Changing face of business coupled with new age economy, constant regulatory changes and increased volatility in performance, will require greater risk taking and as mentioned above, it'll call for us to come out of our shell and take calculated risks and investment decisions to move the business ahead for long term sustained growth.We could look at alliances to reduce burden of internal investment, look at adjacent markets and be approachable to partners with new ideas/ models / technologies. Let's rethink....what is the right Growth Strategy....are we investing enough for long term growth? Strategy applied during recession may not work during the recovery phase.
