ThingWorx Takes Home Enabling Technology and App Development/Enablement Platform of
the Year Honors; Axeda Wins Enabling Company of the Year
NEEDHAM, MA – January 14, 2015 – PTC (Nasdaq: PTC) today announced that the Internet of
Things (IoT) enabling technology businesses it acquired in 2014 – ThingWorx and Axeda –
received several prestigious awards from Compass Intelligence at last week’s International CES,
the world’s largest consumer electronics show.
ThingWorx was awarded both Enabling Technology of the Year and App Development /
Enablement Platform of the Year in its category. Axeda was named Enabling Company of the
Year.
