   convey messages to be delivered in the
 form of auditory symbols , verbal and non-
                   verbal

  for teaching is a material that contains a
 message in the form of auditory, which can
 stimulate the thoughts, feelings, concerns
   and willingness of the students so that
         teaching and learning occur.
Functions of Audio Media
Sudjana and Rivai ( 1991 : 130) to train all skills
 development activities primarily related to aspects
 of auditory skills.

Sudjana (2005: 129) adds audio media utilization in
  teaching function is mainly used in:
a. Teaching music literaty (poetry readings), and
  documentation activities.
b. Foreign language teaching, whether it be audio
  or audiovisual.
c. Teaching through radio or educational radio.
d. The packages studied for different types of
  material, which allows students to train the

Advantages of Audio Media
     Sadiman (2005: 50):
   Cheap price and variety more than the TV
    program.
   It’s easy to move
   Can be used in conjunction with radio recorder,
    so it can be repeated or played back.
   Can stimulate active participation of hearing
    students, as well as to develop the imagination as
    writing, drawing and so on.
   Students can focus like reading poetry, literature,
    music and language drawing.
Visual Media

        What you see is what you get
                  (Bill Gates).
Blackboard, stick figures, realia, and flashcards
        are the example of Visual Aids.

Visual Media (Daryanto, 1993:27), which means
  all the props used in the process of learning
   that can be enjoyed through the eye senses

Advantages of Visual Media

Visual media serves to channel messages from
  the source to the receiver. The message will
   be delivered poured into visual symbols. In
  addition, the function of the visual media is to
    attract attention, serving to clarify ideas,
     illustrate or embellish facts that may be
         quickly forgotten if not visualized.

Graphics is the art or science of drawing,
especially mechanical drawing.

Audio Visual

 "Audio-visual equipment is modern instructional
 media in accordance with the times (the progress of
  science and technology), including media that can
     be seen and heard" (Spiritual, 1997: 97-98).

Audiovisual media is a media intermediary or the use
    of materials and absorption through sight and
  hearing so as to establish conditions to enable the
   pupils to acquire knowledge, skills, or attitudes.
Kinds of Audio Visual Media
 Audiovisual media movement, for example, television,
  video tape, film and audio media such as tapes, disk,
  and so on.
 Audiovisual media silence, for example, filmstrip
  voice, sound slides, comic voice.
 Media audio semi motion, for example, media board.
 Media visual motion, for examples, silent film

 Visual media silence microphone, for example,
  images, and graphics, maps globes, charts, and so on
 Media art movement
 Media Audio, for examples, radio, telephone, tape,
  disk, etc.
