LH surge, ovulation … confused.. please help…?
yesterday i tested for my LH surge and it was negative yet, i’m sure im ovulating today as my
mucus is very stringy, i’ve got a pain on the right side of my tummy and my temperature which
is normaly 37.2 is 36.9 today. However, if its the case, i cant understand why the test i took
yesterday didnt detect the LH surge… i used clearblue and did wait the 4hrs… Any ideas??

Id have sex just to be on the safe side!! I once heard LH surge can last less than a day, in other
words you can miss it if it happens in between tests.

LH Surge & Ovulation Same Day?
I tested positive this morning for an LH surge and now already I am getting a cramp in my right
side like I am ovulating only six hours later. I retested using my opk and it came up negative.
Could I have already ovulated?

You will ovulate within 24 hours of your surge. Normal to get a +OPK and then a – OPK! I would

3. TTC, Positive LH surge, Ovulation?
I have been TTC for 5 months now & no luck. My question is if I am using an OPK and get a
positive LH surge does that mean I am for sure going to ovulate? Is it possible to have the LH
hormone and produce no egg?? I know 5 months isn’t that long, but it does worry me.
My periods are very regular..btw

I would say you’d need to check with a dr to be sure.
I think if you are surging every month and getting ewcm then you are most likely releasing
eggs.
I’d also ask if you are regular?
You can rest easy knowing that Its a 25% chance each month to conceive even if everything is
perfect. Try to relax. Stress gets in the way

Got a positive result for LH surge on ovulation predictor, when can

4. I get pregnant?
My cycles are pretty regular, about 28 days apart. I started using the Ovulation Predictor strips
a couple days after my last period (just like the instructions said too), and this morning the strip
was positive. (Yesterday it was negative). My question is, my husband and I had sex at around
12am this morning (I took the test at around 6:50am), can I get pregnant? I’ve been having
some cramping in my ovaries this morning too.

Yes you actually had sex at a very good time. You will probably ovulate tomorrow if you got a
positive this morning. I would try to baby dance tonight too to make sure you catch that eggie!

LH surge ovulation question?
I did my first Ovulation pedictor test on the 12th day of my cycle. at 1pm. and it came up
positive straight away . I use the clearblue smiley face tests. So my husband and I did it staight
away. About 3 hours before I did the test I wiped and I had the clear egg white muccus on the
toilet paper.
I didn’t test earlier because I have a 28 – 29 day cycle and i don’t usually ovulate till around
day 14-15 . Last month I got the poistive surge at day 15.

5. Please be honest. I don’t mind. i just want to know if I am even in for a chance this month.

The surge can come up to 36 hours before ovulation or as little as 12. Consider yourself fertile
until you notice your CM has completely dried up. Its possible to ovulate earlier than usual.
(If you are using Clomid, testing too close to when you stopped the pills can cause a positive to
come up).

did i catch the right day ? lh surge/ ovulation pains/ bd timing?
I had ewcm for 2 days before i got a proper strong positive opk. that was yesterday at about 12
noon and it was positive. me and hubby did bd the night before that and also last night (day of
surge). i had strong ovulation pain all day yesterday does that mean i actually ovulated
yesterday? today the pain is less and fading and i have no more ewcm.
ooh just went to the bathroom and i still have ewcm. just didnt notice it earlier. i also still have
pains in my rhs but not as bad as last night. poss i have ovulated or think it will be today? hubby
is ill so getting another bd out of him tonight could be a challenge! what do we thnk ladies?
