Child labour ,use of the child as worker in
factories,farms and mines.
The practice which deprives children of their
childhood and is harmful to their physical and
mental development.
The wage labour of underaged persons,that is,
those who are not old enough to be fully
capable of work.
7. Some facts related to child labour
246 million children are child labours across whole
world.
73 million working children are less than 10 years old.
Every year 22,000 children die in work related
accidents.
Unicef estimated that INDIA may be the country with
the highest number of child labour in the world.more
than any country. i.e. 4.35 million.
According to certain survey 10 million bonded children
laborers are working as domestic servants in india.

Children in india have historically been
helping parents at their farms and other
primitive activities.
Children are forced to work as
employees in shop,miles,hotels and
factory by parents who belongs to poor
family.

Poverty and unemployment level are high.
Free education is limited.
Existing laws or codes of conduct are often
violated.

Abstain from employing a child as
domestic help.
Report to police when you see child labour.
Counser the poor who send their children to
work.
Goverment should ensure every child get
the opportunity
to go to school.
Encourage children to take up education
instead of work.
