>A step taken by JUGs around the world to support the core Java community (JCP
JSR)
>Helping the EG members and SpecLead of a JSR in developing, maintaining the
vision of the JSR.
>JUGs around the world participates in there favorite JSR and contribute as much
they can in the area of reviewing, maintaining mailing list, issues
etc., documentation, writing TCKs etc.

JSR-331 - Constraints Programming
JSR-357 – Social Media API (Rejected , Currently working as Agorava.org)
JSR – 354 – Money and Currency API
>We encourage members to work on a proof of concept project using the
JSR. Then it slowly evolves with different JSRs.
>As we work, we send our feedback to the EG team.
>As of now we have created two proto type application for JEE7 and JSR-
354

>Future: We plan to start AdoptOpenJDK , Encourage college students to
participate.

5. Urban Travellers (UT)
>A proof of concept project for using JEE7 features.
>Started with adopting Java API for WebSocket (JSR-356), Java API for JSON Processing
(JSR-353), Batch Application for the Java Platform (JSR-352), JavaServer Faces (JSF)
>Due to the scope, time and design it reduced to Java API for WebSocket (JSR-356), Java API
for JSON Processing (JSR-353)
>For UI we used Kinetic.js

>A stock market application.
>A proof of concept project for JSR 354: Money and Currency API
>Currently using JEE6, PrimeFaces (for graph) ,JavaDB, JAX-RS, JavaFX,
