 A private school is autonomous and
generates its own funding through various
sources like student tuition, private grants
and endowments.
 A public school is government funded and all
students attend free of cost.
Government schools
Private schools
 Less salary
 Rate of teacher activity is
high
 They have higher officials
who question them
 Teacher attendance is more
 More salary
 Rate of teacher activity
is low
 Here there is nothing
like that
 Teacher attendance is
less
PRIVATE GOVERNMENT
Poor quality in government schools
Main reason-rapid growth of private school
Better quality in private schools
Special concentration on slow learners-private
Every one treated in same manner-government
Teachers motivation is high-private
Students effect-government

Private school infrastructure
Government school infrastructure
Management will concentrate on the
student’s results regularly. – Private
Teachers are answerable for their poor
results – Private
No much care about the results –
Government
If teachers don’t achieve their target the
salary may be decremented – Private
Anyway they get their salary. – Government
 Smart class rooms with projectors
 Well equieped laboratories
 Digital library
 Well conditioned benches and chairs
 Clean toilets
 Parents can question the management about
their children’s performance since they do
pay money– Private
 Management conduct regular meetings with
the parents – Private
 Parents come to know the level of the
children
 They can coach them at home
 It is not seen in government schools
 May or may not be certified but often hold a
graduate degree or higher education.
 Teachers must meet all state-mandated
requirements and be highly proficient in their
subject area (i.e. have at least a BA with a
major in their subject). Most teachers have
Masters Degrees.
Teachers are often found chatting in the staff room
- Government.
No such chance – Private.
Teachers use students for their own work-public
school
Those students will be treated in good manner
 Private schools follows good Discipline
 Dress code
 certain hair style
 cleanliness
 shaving
 Troublesome behavior at a public school will
result detention.
 Public schools must accept all students with
few exceptions.
 Behavior is one of those exceptions
 A private school, on the other hand, accepts
any student it wishes
 It is not required to give a reason why it has
refused to admit anyone.
 Violence in public schools is a top priority for
administrators and teachers.
 Private schools are generally safe places.
 buildings is carefully monitored and
controlled.
 But Both private and public school
administrators have child's safety on top of
their list of priorities.
I have seen that kids from low-income
families have difficulty in learning. These
kids are inhibited about where they come
from and feel lost. Kids in my school have
always complained about the lack of clean
toilets, fans and lights in the classroom.
And even though we have taken the matter
to the administration, nothing has been
done. All government schools have a
budget for buying equipment required to
conduct practical sessions, but they don’t
do so. When we are burdened with other
work like election duties, paper correction,
etc, it is the children who suffer most. If we
miss four days of work, it takes 15 days to
catch up. And, when a teacher is replaced,
the rhythm of learning is disrupted. I
believe that if teachers in government
schools get better support, they can
function just as well as private schools.

For some people government schools are better
And for some people private school may feel better
since they have good facilities and quality of
education
At my point private schools are much better than
government schools
Government should come forward to improve the
standard of public school.
Also funds provided by the government should be
used in proper way
