3. 1. Introduction to the Project:
 Now a days online service is a best competitive edge for any organization
which makes it differ from other organizations.
 The Gym Management System is such a system which provide best platform
for ease of access to the Gym Staff. Customer can check his updates online
anytime about fitness or diet plan etc.
 The Gym Management System is such a system which provide best platform

anytime about fitness or diet plan etc.
 This is a best platform for customers and gym staff to interact freely with each
other.
 This system will be used by only two person's (admin and customer's) Admin
can update everything, customers can only view the daily updates about their
fitness updates and can edit his profile data and post a question to admin.

 In Indian and other countries there are a large number of fitness clubs. Some of
them have only static websites and working manually and does not have such a
system which I am going to proposed.
 Existing System
 Existing system is a static website so you have to use file system to save record.
 Time consuming system.
 No proper system to make announcement.
 Important information can be missed while writing on page.
 Proposed System
 New proposed system allow to user to save record in database.
 Fast and easy to use.
 An easy way to make an announcement.
 Full fledge information system.
 Efficient and Proper availability of data.

5. 3. Project Scope
The HOSTEL management system web portal has a wide scope that
covers the following perspectives:
• The administrator has full-fledged rights over this System
• The admin can register and view the Customers Profile Data.
• The Admin can announce any thing.
• Admin can mark attendance of customers.
• Admin will update evaluation report of the customer, update diet plan,
update exercises schedule, answer to questions made by customers
and email automatically will be sent to customers by system
• Customers can view the Profile data and can update it by using their
own account.

• To remove the manual or paper work in the Fitness club.
• Provide a platform with interactive user interface for both
customer and admin.
• Save the time of both admin and customer.
• Get online Plans in an efficient manner.
• To save cost for each user.
• User friendly.

I chooses the waterfall model because it is a sequential design process. often
used in software development, in which progress is seen as flowing steadily
downwards (like a waterfall) through the phases of Conception, Initiation,
Analysis, Design, Construction, Testing, Production/Implementation and
Maintenance
