Introduction
• NFC is based upon RFID technology
• NFC operates in short range Wireless Technology
(10 cm)
• It was inititated by Sony and Philips late 2002 A.D.
• Standardized by ISO/IEC 18092 in late 2003 A.D.
• It operates at 13.56 MHz frequency and provides
maximum speed up to 424 Kbps.
• By 2004, NFC forum established by Sony, Philips
and Nokia
• NFC forum has more than 200 members now
