largest U.S. state in area of the

5. CAPITAL
Little Rock is the capital and largest
city of the U.S. state of Arkansas.
Located near the geographic center of
the state of Arkansas, Little Rock
derives its name from the name of a
small stone that exists on the south
bank of the Arkansas River, called in
French la petite roche (in Portuguese,
the little rock).
