berlaku pengumpulan lemak secara
berlebihan di dalam badan
 Kalori berlebihan akan di simpan di
bawah kulit (dalam tisu adipos) sebagai
lemak.
Overweight : BMI > 25kgm-2;
Obese : BMI > 30kgm-2
 Risiko penyakit kronik meningkat
pada BMI > 23
